PUTIN SAYS HE IS IN SPORADIC CONTACT WITH WHITE HOUSE OVER NUCLEAR ISSUES
Following the exchange of threats between the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, and the White House concerning the use of nuclear weapons, Putin has announced that he is in sporadic contact with the White House on nuclear issues.
AFRICUNIA TV had earlier reported how the White House issued a warning to Putin on the horrific consequences and a decisive U.S. response if the Russia President should make good on his threat of using nuclear weapons to defend Russian territory.
In Putin’s eyes, that territory may soon include areas of Ukraine occupied by Russian forces, where Moscow is now staging highly-criticized referendums to join the Russian Federation.
This television station learnt that Ukrainian and Western officials are ridiculing the votes as an imposture with a prearranged result in favor of Russia, which they warn could give Putin an excuse to use nuclear weapons in order to attack forces trying to retake them for Ukraine.
